Gut microbiota, and their role on human health and disease is a booming area of research presenting a new paradigm full of opportunities for medical and food applications.
To raise recognition and expand knowledge & interest in this fast moving field, we have recently created the Gut Microbiota & Health Section (within the European Society for Neurogastroenterology & Motility affiliated to the United European Gastroenterology Federation).
Among its missions, one is to provide a forum for dissemination of novel discoveries in Gut Microbiota & Health.
As a chair of the Section, it is a pleasure to invite you to attend the “Gut Microbiota for Health” Summit.
This international event will take place in Evian (France) from 26th to 28th March 2012
and will be organized with the support of Danone.
Thanks to an ambitious program delivered by recognised experts in the field, the “Gut Microbiota for Health” Summit will provide a great opportunity to share and discuss new findings on the microbial communities that reside in our gut and how they impact human health.
You will find on the website the pre-program including a plenary session (day 1), 4 workshops (day 2), lectures and conclusions (day 3).
We look forward very much to welcoming you to the summit in the charming city of Evian.
Sincerely
Fernando Azpiroz
Chairman of the Gut Microbiota & Health Section
